Transgender Rights and the LGBTQ Community

This enlightening discussion by Todd G. Nordgren will address the protection of Transgender Rights, supporting individuals in LGBTQ communities facing economic hardship, and race/religion/sexuality within the LGBTQ community. There will be an initial opportunity at the beginning of the discussion to address the audience's current knowledge on the topic, as well as a concluding Q & A.
Todd G. Nordgren, Ph.D. (he/him/his) joined as the Director of the Office of LGBTQ Services at Dickinson College in July 2020. Todd is also a Contributing Faculty member in the Department of Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies at Dickinson. He completed his Ph.D. in English Literature at Northwestern University, where he subsequently held a post as Visiting Assistant Professor of English and Comparative Literary Studies prior to coming to Carlisle.
