Do you enjoy taking photos of architecture? Explore the architecture of downtown Lewisburg on a one-hour guided walking tour led by members of the Lewisburg Photography Club. Starting at the Lewisburg Arts Council booth at The Piers (North Fifth and Cherry Alley), participants will stroll along Market Street to the Susquehanna River and return on the other side of Market. Along the way, tour leaders will point out architectural features worth photographing as well as provide historical facts about the buildings. A map and written descriptions of the sites will be available. Tours start at 11 am, Noon, 1 pm, 2 pm, and 3 pm and will be held rain or shine. Each tour is limited to 10 participants. Non-photographers are welcome to participate as well. Register online before the event to secure a space or – if spaces remain – at the LAC booth the day of the event. Bring your own camera and experience the beautiful and historic architecture of Lewisburg! Photographers who participate in the tours will be invited to submit several photos to the Art Show at the Public Library for Union County in June.
