Tips on Nature Photography

A free, virtual workshop focusing on photography fundamentals with tips on shooting landscapes, wildlife, and plants

Dan Hyde, chair of the Lewisburg Photography Club, will lead a free, virtual workshop--Tips on Nature Photography--on Friday, April 23 from 7 to 9 pm. The session will cover fundamentals, such as focusing, exposure, lighting, depth of field, choice of lens, use of tripod, and composition, along with tips on shooting landscapes, wildlife, plants and close-ups. The workshop will help photographers sharpen their skills in preparation for participation in the Plein Air Event (April 25-May 2) Under the banner of the “Nature Photography Challenge,” local photo enthusiasts, working alongside artists, will capture nature in its most vibrant season at the Dale-Engle-Walker property, Koons Trail, Shamokin Mountain Trail, and Shikellamy State Park.   The workshop is open to photographers, ages 12 and up, at all skill levels. Participants should have a digital camera (smartphone, point-and-shoot, or DSLR). Enrollment is limited to 24, and REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. Go to; https://forms.gle/Z8bA2M4jH9LDjwhg6.
