On Sunday, May 7, beginning at 1 pm, the Merrill Linn Conservancy will sponsor a visit to the 243-acre Wayne Stahl property at 138 Indian Ridge Road, Lewisburg. A conservation easement with Conservancy will protect the property permanently from additional development while preserving its agricultural land, tree-line hedgerows, scenic beauty, and other natural features. A major objective is to foster and perpetuate old-growth forest, meadow, and wetland for wildlife habitat. Participants are advised to wear long pants and sturdy shoes.
